I expect

The API to be defined via an OpenAPI 3 specification file.

I provided a draft file that you are welcome to integrate in the repo.

In this repo https://github.com/ioggstream/api-confini-amministrativi I made a similar work downloading data from www.istat.it, processsing the shapes and publishing on github pages both data and indexes, eg.
