charge resume in PV mode not working with Sungrow EV Charger and Skoda Enyaq (SW 3.7)

Hello,

I have my Enyaq permanently attached to my Sungrow EV Charger and activated PV mode in EVCC. I would expect charging to start automatically as soon as the PV generation is sufficient (exceeding 1.4KW). But this is not happening. EVCC switches to "ready to charge" but my Enyyaq is not responding and thus charging is not started. I can reproduce the issue by switching between "PV" and "min PV mode". If Enyaq has been sleeping long enough it will not start charging when switching to "min PV". Also not after 1h.

Interesting enough, I can wake it up by switching from "PV" to "Off" and then to "min PV" in EVCC. Loading starts within a few seconds. Thus, a solution would be to implement a switch to off state before resuming loading in EVCC.
Is there already an option in EVCC that enables this behavior? If not, can it be implemented or can you tell where to implement it best. I might be able to do it myself...

... or is there some other solution to my issue?

You should provide a trace log showing the difference.

this will not work, because it is not defined within the template.
So the car config must be changed to type: enyaq and then it should be features: ["welcomecharge"]

Both are not working (with latest release).
In both cases EVCC is showing me an error in the UI that start failed with the hint "cannot create vehicle ev4. cannot create vehicle type tymplate: invalid key: welcome charge" respectively as similar error with features: ["welcomecharge"].

You must use type: enyaq instead of template as Volker mentioned. And remove template: enyaq

Ah, ok. Did not get that. Thank you. After additionally removing mincurrent, maxcurrent and mode it is working now. Enyaq starts charging as soon as I plug the charge no matter what mode I chose and stops after the timeout in case of mode PV (no sun now).

BUT my issue is not solved. If it stops charging for a longer time, it will still not resume charging.
If I switch off and the back, charging starts.

Ok, at least it was worth trying. You can go back to the template in this case. When you have setup the environment, you can maybe try to implement the wakeup function in the charger code.
