Is there a way to make the caption text of figure-md directive be centrally aligned?

I am trying to use the figure-md directive, but the caption under the image appears to be strangely aligned, towards the left, but not fully left. I've been trying to work out why by looking at the CSS used in the MyST docs themselves (here) but to no avail.

Code used (I do have colon_fence listed in conf.py as well):
