Fix detection of changed build files

Currently the detection whether a file has been changed is flawed when using file mappings, because in a first step the default file is copied and then the mapped file is copied over it. This intermediate step leads to a 'change detection'.

It would be better to check whether something has been changed in the end (not while going), probably via checksums.
