Minutes

  • @tomhealey-icma discussed the concept of observables, stating that assets and products themselves are not observables; instead, it's the prices, yields, or numerical values associated with them that are observable.

  • Discussion on transferability of financial instruments.1. Introduction of transferability as a fundamental distinction 2. Structural differences between OTC and non-OTC products. @lolabeis emphasized the importance of recognizing assets as something that can be held and transferred, distinguishing them from observables and products.

  • @JBZ-Fragmos suggested focusing future discussions on graphical representations of proposals to better understand operational aspects and identify potential blockers in the model's functionality.

Action Items

  • Proposal to be created outlining the implementation of transferability as a fundamental distinction in financial instruments for further discussion.
  • @tomhealey-icma To provide information supporting the structural differences between OTC and non-OTC products.
  • All Participants: Review the proposal for graphical representation and provide feedback for the next meeting.
