Back/forward broken after using tab selector #5381

Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://share.firefox.dev/3DerpuE
Click on "Full Range" in the top left corner.
Click on "Proton VPN: Fast & Secure" in the dropdown list
Click the browser's back button.

Expected results:

You should be back in the previous view.

Actual results:

Nothing happens. Clicking back repeatedly doesn't do anything.

Oh right, I think I noticed this before too. I will take a look at it when I have some free time.
