OpenPSA (Open Professional Services Automation) is a management suite for software consultancies. It is implemented on top of the MidCOM framework as a set of Components:

• contact management
• project management
• product database
• hour tracking
• group calendar
• document management
• invoice tracking
• sales project support
• reporting
• personalized start page
• email marketing support
• User management

These can also be used separately in custom applications, and new components can be written to extend OpenPSA functionality.

Installation

OpenPSA 9 can be installed via Composer, see OpenPSA installation.

Version History

The original OpenPSA 1 application was the successor to Nemein.net and was written as a Midgard 1.0 application.

Versions starting from OpenPSA 2 until OpenPSA 8.09 were based on MidCOM and MgdSchema and realise their functionality in MidCOM Components. The current series is OpenPSA 9.
