App crashes when open chats

Not entirely sure if this is the correct repo. App crashes on Mac when doing a cmd +T to engage in direct chat. After entering name and pressing enter to select person to chat to the app instantly crashes.

I second that. It still keeps on happening. Just for clarification: When doing a cmd + T and entering a name Mac offers an auto-complete and when selecting the auto-complete option and hitting enter it does not crash.. So must be something in connection with the Apple auto-complete process.

Wow, you're right- I didn't realize that there was an auto-complete suggestion pending. If I hit ESC to dismiss that, it doesn't crash.

This started happening to me after upgrading to Catalina. Thanks for the ESC workaround!
