I understand that this is a bit of a stretch but I do believe it would make sense to add this feature to your mod, especially as it could also be a way to fix #26. One thing that I don't like about the "next colonist" hotkey in the main game is that it will also browse through sleeping colonists, which depending on the size of your colony and schedule settings, might mean that half or more of the times your press the "next" key, it would end up selecting sleeping colonists which are not particularly interesting (and on the rare cases where you do want to look at a sleeping colony, you can just click them in the pawn bar, you don't really need the 'next" action to take that into account).

Adding a custom "next" button should be simple enough to do, without needing to replace the original one. If you add a keybind like the others in the mod, both base and custom "next" actions can co-exist peacefully, allowing the player to select which one to use, through the keybinding options. You could name it "Next colonist (smart)" or similar to further differentiate between the vanilla and custom actions.

As mentioned, having a custom action for "next" would probably make fixing #26 much easier as you'd have complete control on that logic, rather than having to work around the current bug (and it's a very annoying bug by the way, when you play with the mod active every single time) :D

Alternative: provide once again the Cinematic Camera option that just browses through colonists, make sure it skips sleeping ones. Not as good, doesn't help fix the other bug but still would be better than nothing! I believe this camera existed at some point?

I love your mod, never play RimWorld without it (it's literally the first mod I've ever gotten)! Thank you so very much for picking the work Tynan left half-done on the base game! RW really needs a lot of polish, like that provided by your mod, to not feel like an early-access game... Let me know if I can help in any way with testing, discussing ideas and implementation, etc... Thanks again for supporting this even after all those years!

I know this has been a while but I'd really love to have this feature. There is a mod "Colonist Bar KF" which was continued by Miles. The link is: "https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2270454746". The mod features your follow me mod? It also applies the follow me feature when you switch to the next/previous colonist. Maybe there is something there that may help? Idk but I love your mods and I seriously can't play without it.
