Only having lazy is causing an error

Hello! I've tried reinstalling neovim, deleted .local/share/nvim/lazy and rebuilding lazy.lua according to the installation guide, and I get this each time I want to open a file.

What is going on? Is the way neovim gets installed on linux mint wrong or? Thank you for help!

You're using an ancient neovim version or your neovim's runtime is messed up

When I run nvim --version I get that I have v 0.11.0-dev and LuaJIT 2.1.0-beta3. As stated, I've tried reinstalling it completely. How do I check if my runtime is messed up?

Old nightly then. Either way, your install is messed up. LazyVim needs a stable or recent nightly

I've just installed with a simple sudo apt-get install neovim. Lazyvim still "works", technically. But I always get this message when opening any file with neovim.

You did not, since you're for sure using Neovim nightly (0.11).
You may have also installed Neovim stable with apt-get, but your version info shows you're using a nigyhtly (and probably an old one with messed up runtime directory)
