Please provide the debug log of the cron run which you will find in /root (See FAQ 41) |

Thanks. Now I found the log file. Looks like a mount problem for the user root that doesn't exist when I execute the script as a normal user. I use a NFS that I mount with autofs. Maybe I just need to change rights on /Backup directory ... Will test and report. Thanks a lot for swift answer!! (and sorry that I didn't check more carefully where to find the log file) |

Hi!
1st thanks a lot for providing that tool!
After an upgrade of my raspberry (made it completely new) I have problems to get raspibackup running.
When I start a backup from the command line it works fine, but when cron does it it fails with rc119: (from syslog):
Sep 22 03:00:01 lutzpi CRON[116263]: (root) CMD (/usr/local/bin/raspiBackup.sh )
Sep 22 03:00:03 lutzpi raspiBackup.sh: Started 0.6.8 (7c4a713)
Sep 22 03:00:08 lutzpi raspiBackup: Stopped 0.6.8 (7c4a713). rc 119
....
Sep 22 17:55:25 lutzpi raspiBackup.sh: Started 0.6.8 (7c4a713)
Sep 22 18:01:59 lutzpi raspiBackup: Stopped 0.6.8 (7c4a713). rc 0
There is nothing more in the syslog that says anything. And since the job is not started there is also no log file from raspiBackup (at least I havent found one).
What can I do to narrow down the problem?
Thanks!
/Lutz
