Compatibility issue with moodle version

We spent some time trying to get this plugin to work with our version of moodle. We believe it is either incompatible with our version or contains some bugs which make it appear to be incompatible with our version.

Coding error detected, it must be fixed by a programmer: Method cm_info::get_section_info() does not exist)

Moodle version is Moodle 3.3.9 (Build: 20181112)

Do you have any recommendations?
