Feature request

This feature (also, seek-buttons for seconds #56) are the only reasons I still need to use VLC occasionally. But VLC is slow, clunky, and they still haven't even fixed the pitch warbling bug (wtf).

VLC also supports FTP/FTPS/SFTP/NFS, but I have no experience with these. For me, just having SMB capability would be brilliant.
