Hi all,
I am trying to install several DELL R640 through PXE.

image

That is the error I am getting.
This is all using Rocky Linux 8.5 and syslinux-6.04-pre1. I've tried with syslinux-6.03 binaries, but 6.03 hangs for all nodes. Just tried with latest git version, same issue, output is just a bit different.

What is very strange is that I have many nodes that install perfectly, no issues at all. I have managed to install over 10 nodes using the same setup. And all these nodes are DELL R640s, bought at the same time. Only 7 nodes throw this error, all others install without issues.
I have already updated DELLs firmware, BIOS and iDRAC, all nodes have the same versions.

Does anyone have an idea what may be going on?

Many thanks for any help, very much appreciated!

Kind regards,
Richard

i'm getting this too. totally random. 9 times out of ten it fails and very rarely it'll pick up the boot menu.
@rems0 did you ever get to the bottom of this?
