maximize window took more than 10s

The process took more than 10s to finish. Attached a screenshot in the middle of maximizing.

Also invoking a subshell in vifm used to be instant, now there is a 1-2 seconds delay. What could be the reason? Should I restart ghostty from time to time to keep up performance?
