Cannot use namespace 'xs' as a value.ts(2708) #32

Example copied from the MarkLogic docs:
https://docs.marklogic.com/cts.elementWordQuery

cts.search(
    cts.elementWordQuery(
      xs.QName("function"),
      "MarkLogic Corporation"));

  => .. relevance-ordered sequence of documents
  with elements with QName 'function'
  and text content containing the phrase 'MarkLogic
  Corporation'.

Not sure why I'm getting TS error: Cannot use namespace 'xs' as a value.ts(2708)
