In short

Luna's final goal is to allow Frontend developers to integrate their existing Design System with delightful, subtle visual effects in less than 1 minute. Adapts to a variety of UI frameworks (shadcn, chakra, material, ...)

Luna's motivation:

Most dashboards nowadays are commonly just a flat design. They're missing a subtle, very subtle, shiny layer of care & detail. Just imagine delighting your user like this. But also imagine the implementation took ~1 minute, and now your both your client user & your product manager or boss gives you a compliment for the product.

Luna goals:

  • Butter-smooth Developer Experience (DX) through:
    • CLI for integration in <= 1 minute. (like shadcn does)
    • Easy-to-use VFX that are just wrappers/slot components that developers can wrap around their UI components.
    • Setup adaptable to the current framework (say shadcn/ui, Chakra, Material, etc)
  • Excellent aesthetics (UI/UX) for the end user. Subtle. Shiny. Not too much. Just on point.

Luna's mindset:

Delight the user.
Delight the developer.
Delight the product manager.
Honor them all.
