Site crashes on Mobile Safari

Scrolling past the fold on the landing page (area above the community section) will "crash the site", e.g.: the tab gets reloaded.

This is possibly due to high memory consumption; as other open tabs need to be reloaded after this event as well.

Tested on: iPad Air 2, iOS 10.3, iPhone 6, iOS 10.2

@Bertg thanks, we had this problem before (because of Adobe Edge Animate) so we swapped in (on iphone) static images. I'll have to check to see why that isn't working anymore. Thanks for the report!
