Anything we can do about the broken download links (eg for PDF files)?

Can you give more information. E.g. as specific reproduce steps as possible and which firefox version you are using?
I tried opening a PDF in google inbox and downloading it and both worked here locally.
I tried it on nightly and on stable.

No specific steps.

I tested this again and it seems to work now (PDF preview and download) -- but I tried reloading the page yesterday, restarted FF, cleared cache without success. Very strange behavior.

I'm using Firefox beta, should be 36b1

If you (or somebody else) encounter this again. Please report and try to find out when it happens and when it doesn't happen.

I stopped my Inbox experiments -- it is not ready for my every day work flow.

I experienced the issue again but a restart of FF always helped. For now, I guess this issue could be closed. Thanks again for your help!
