Overview

Bonnie requested that all teams create resource lists/repositories on our Wiki, and create a new system for referencing resources on all future Github issues. Discussed at November 5, 2024 All-teams meeting (see notes) #1620 (comment)

Details

Each practice lead should create their own resource issue for updating wiki and link it to the action items.

Action Items

  • Add all Content resources to Content Wiki page Update Content Wiki #1643
  • Discuss with Bonnie at Feb Org meeting
  • Discuss within Leads and PMs how to create issues with this new resource repository system
  • Create Figma specific page with links to replace what is on the current joining the team page
  • Add all Design resources to Wiki (link Github issue)
  • Add all Research resources to Wiki (link Github issue)
  • Add all Dev resources to Wiki (link Github issue)
  • Add all PM resources to Wiki (link Github issue)

Resources/Notes

Example from Bonnie, how Github issues should look (resource section)... she did this on the call with me as an example: #1632
Example for reference from another project at HfLA (see recourse section) hackforla/internship#643
Also look at the Internship project's corresponding wiki (click some of the links for ex to get there quickly)

Spoke with Bonnie, she asked that I create a hierarchy with the main info on the https://github.com/hackforla/expunge-assist/wiki/Joining-the-Team page and Content specific on that page. She will address the process for these pages and the subsequent Github issue resource section at the next Org meeting.

I have updated the https://github.com/hackforla/expunge-assist/wiki/Joining-the-Team page with some general resources. They will need numbering and some more work (i.e. creating a page specifically about Figma rather than just the general links I provided). I'm passing those updates on.

Assigning to domain leads per Bonnie's request. Domain leads should create issues like the Content one above, she will give more info at the Org meeting

Hey @jyehllow, @sydneywalcoff, @SamHyler, @anitadesigns, @TechWriterMelissa, @sylvia-nam, @giselledizon! Thanks again for taking this issue.

Time for an update! Please comment the following update:
**Progress:** What's the status of the project? What have you done and what still needs to be done?
**Estimated Time to Completion (ETC):** When do you estimate to be finished?
**Blockers:** Anything preventing you from finishing?

Thanks again!
