What's the status of this project?

Hi there,
is this project actively maintained, or should I use Babel ;-)? I don't understand if the statement in the readme is a joke, solidarity, or if this project is no longer active.

This project is still in use. There are a few maintainers.

@hannosch Could it be an idea to move this project into the zopefoundation org, so it gets better maintainence – I have the tools there to keep it up to date for current Python versions.
