*BUG* Goggles do not respect "default" source selection on bootup

I fly with a Walksnail VRX connected to HDMI in. There is a setting in the menus to always start with the HDMI input selected as the source. In prior firmwares, this worked. When the goggles booted up, they would just go to HDMI In and wait for the Walksnail VRX to boot. This no longer works in version Rev_20240816 (it may have stopped working earlier, I hadn't updated my goggles in about a year). Now no matter what I set the default input to, the goggles always boot to the main menu, and I have to go to the Source tab and select HDMI In.
