The misalignment of Mem Reduct's system tray icons numerals appears to be a historical issue that also affects older Mem Reduct versions, such as (but probably not limited to) v3.4.0 (25 Jan 2022).

My personal experience (... your mileage may vary)
The misalignment (off-centre horizontally &/or vertically) bug has become obvious recently, because Mem Reduct v3.5.x (Dec 2024) seems to use Lucinda Console as default font for its systray icon. And the misalignment for this font is quite conspicuous.

In v3.4 & older versions where Tahoma was used as default systray icon font, the numerals' misalignment was very slight & thus mostly not casually noticed (unless one really stares at it). And most users don't even think of changing Tahoma as the display font since it looks acceptable. If the font is changed to one of those listed in Group 1 (below), the bug becomes noticeable.

Possible Temporary User Workaround (while developer resolves the bug):
Change Mem Reduct's systray icon font to one of those listed in Group 3 below.

1. Misalignment Very Obvious:

  • Lucinda Console
  • Iosevka
  • Terminal
  • etc.

2. Misalignment Extremely Slight:

  • Tahoma
  • Other fonts ?

3. Misalignment Super-Extremely Tiny (or maybe Absent):

  • Arial
  • Calibri
  • Cambria
  • Century Gothic
  • Consolas
  • Nirmala UI
  • Segoe UI
  • Times New Roman
  • Trebuchat MS
  • Verdana
  • etc

Thanks for the reply. It is good to know about the historical problems with this software. I will wait patiently for the update.
