Looking for fan speeds in a Dell Laptop

Is it possible to collect my hardware sensor information and submit it for updates? I have a few systems that I would like to watch temperatures, fan speed and power consumption.

Also, could you please put out a standalone/portable version?

@hubdows The problem is that the fan control is very different between various hardware manufacturers. So without a data sheet describing how to read the sensor values, it will get very difficult to do something.

Providing a portable version should be easy though.
