Criteria

Based on criteria I suggested in Slack:

  • Minimum 6 taps
  • At least 50% or 5 taps (whichever is lower) focused on beers made in AL or middle TN

Potential venues

Breweries

  • Green Bus
  • Salty Nut
  • Old Black Bear
  • Rocket Republic Downtown HSV

Restaurants

  • Earth and Stone Madison (6 taps, all AL)
  • Sam and Greg's (~20 taps, 8+ local)
  • 1892 East (8 taps, almost all AL or TN)
  • Pane e Vino (7 taps, 4 local)
  • Brick house in Providence
  • The Camp at Mid City (6 taps, all local)
  • Self-Serve Drinkery (from the people behind Earth and Stone)

Places that would be fun but unlikely to happen

  • VBC Arena (3 bars, 2 with 20 taps, at least half local, and one with about 10 taps, half local)
  • Hops 'n' Guac (proprietary self-serve system has no viable API)
  • Brass Tap (proprietary web site)

Places that don't quite make the cut

  • Church Street Wine Shoppe (3 taps, all local)
  • Purveyor (4 taps, all local)
  • Commerce Kitchen (3 taps, all local)
  • Lumberyard (12 taps, only 2 local in the picture I saw on Google Maps)
