I don't know if this is possible or a good idea, but I personally always get frustrated when I want to copy a whole section of a metablock and then modify it a bit. As you can see here, I have to copy several metablocks individually to map the tree to a mountain, for example.
Could you create a multiple selection to copy the metablock including the behaviour?
This permanent back and forth makes the whole thing really stressful. I think that metablocks are stupid anyway (haha), but that would at least make it easier to build them up. They just take most of the time to build, I think.

Having a set of prefab'd metatile arrays would be a really nice feature. Often times I'll have to arrange metatiles in the map itself to use for smartpaths or copy/pasting into several areas because the metatile palette is is a mess from being packed efficiently
