In this release we focused on fixing the small things, but also prepare for the future.
We implemented tagging of accounts, so it's up to you which account you use for invoices

Another big, but hidden thing is the preparation for multi-tenancy. We added support for
PostgreSQL and moved settings into the database.

All in all, a small, but important release:-)

We've implemented some user feedback to make debit and credit invoices directly accessible.
The menu structure has been improved and the sidebar is now more usefull.

There's been a number of security updates in the last few weeks. This is the
result of a critical view on some parts of the underlying framework Ruby on Rails.
While the high number of issues is disturbing, it is also a sign that the
framework is actually reviewed and flaws are found and fixed.

There is also a point release 1.4.7 for those who stay on Ruby 1.8 or like to stay
on Bookyt 1.4 for some reason.

This is the first version that drops support for Ruby 1.8.7. Please use
Ruby 1.9.3 now. We might revert these changes if someone helps us with keeping
1.8.7 support;-)

We reworked our internal deployment at CyT and now use Unicorn, Bluepill, and
capistrano. We checked in some files to support that. Just ask if you'd like to
use those. We might add some words about it in the readme...

We've given the timetracking module some love: filters in lists,
clever forms to do batch entries, nicer timelog. Directly printing
pages and reports in the browser now works great even in tabbed views.

The salary pay slips had a major bugfix regarding bad rounding.

We have some great news for developers, too: We're working hard to
make contributing easy: some new helpers simplify
building new views; using great gems like inherited_resources make
controllers simple to understand, adapt, and build.

We streamlined the interface and made it much nicer on smaller devices
like tablets and phones.

Beside dozens of usability fixes, balance/profit sheet reporting got
much more powerful. We now provide year by year comparison and better

sidebar filters are now unified in look and functionality.

Enabling mobile devices has been simplified tremendously by open source
components like Twitter Bootstrap 2 and simple_form. A big "Thank You!"
to all those involved in these and other projects!

This release brings functions for salary management. With this module
you can create salary reports and payslips by entering just a little
bit of information. It's currently tailored to swiss law, but the
framework will handle other requirements with ease.

Localization for english has been improved and there's now a working
language switcher.

Invoices can now contain summary line items and calculations for relative
amounts are done in realtime while entering data.
