Think we should refresh this page, it's quite irrelevant to how most people run Besu, i.e. I doubt anyone is running it with Ansible https://besu.hyperledger.org/public-networks/how-to/upgrade-node

I would guess two most common ways are:

  1. Binary on Linux
  2. Docker (or Kubernetes)

I think this page should complement the "how to install page" https://besu.hyperledger.org/public-networks/get-started/install
i.e., if you installed like this, how do you update...maybe could even live on the same page.

For (1) There's an example guide here: a-validator-on-eth2-mainnet/part-ii-maintenance/updating-execution-client#besu

For (2) We already have a section about Kubernetes https://besu.hyperledger.org/private-networks/tutorials/kubernetes/production though probably doesn't this exact question.
I think a common issue with docker/kubernetes that might be relevant is deleting the data along with the container, only the binaries and libs should be changes, data and config should be extracted separately into a container volume.
