Sensors

Favor cheap, easy to acquire and install sensors. Favor unwired (through wifi or bluetooth) over wired.

  • Incoming HTTP requests

    • Instead of just reading a single request, a controller could be configured to pass multiple requests to different readers according to the request parameters; imagine persistent readers assigned to specific edge device IDs or something like that.

  • MQTT messages

  • RabbitMQ messages

  • Redis subscription messages

  • Kafka messages
