Thank you so much for this extension! It is truly amazing, and makes GNOME so much better!

Topic:
Currently there's an option to put a search icon in the panel.
Which is great!

Issue:
There's no way of customizing the icon.
I'd like to be able to change the size of the icon, and to position it on a different place in the panel.
(I imagine some people would want to be able to change the icon image as well)

Observations:
I'm using Dash to Panel and Top Bar Organizer.
Top Bar Organizer doesn't provide an entry to rearrange Search Light's Icon.
It does however allow me to rearrange icons of every other extension I've installed, search light's being the only one I've installed that it cannot rearrange.

Solution:

  • Expose the icon so that it can be rearranged by extensions such as "top bar organizer".
  • Provide a way to rearrange the search light icon inside the search light extension settings.
