3. DATA SPECIFIC INFORMATION
This dataset contains the fishing opportunity advice for fish stocks assessed by ICES. The official publications of these advises can be found here:
https://www.ices.dk/advice/Pages/Latest-Advice.aspx
The published pdfs of advice are the official advice. Though the database has been quality controlled, there may be small errors or differences between the published advice the data in this database. If any differences are noticed, please e-mail [email protected] so that corrections can be made.
Each advice is linked to an assessment that can be viewed in the ICES Stock Assessment Database: assessments (key stock and fishery metrics), biological and fishery reference points and settings for the figures and tables (including items such as ‘Absolute/Relative’ basis for the assessment results) as presented in the recurrent ICES advice on fishing opportunities for fish stocks in the Northeast Atlantic.
Data from the Advice View database are freely available for downloading.
4. TERMS OF USE: DATA
ICES makes data available to users in an open, timely and easy way, but ICES remains dependent on data contributions.
