You might define this as a feature, I define it as a severe bug:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the torch app. The LED will be on and the screen is milky.
2. Press the power button, the screen will go locked and blank. The LED
switches off.
3. To turn LED on again, you have to unlock the screen and turn torch on.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want the LED to stay on, even if the power button is pressed and screen goes
blank. Instead, it turns off.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
torch version 0.2.3
In version 0.1.2 it works as I expect it.
Both versions are taken from froid.org
Using Motorola RAZR i with Android 4.1.2.
Please provide any additional information below.
Here is why I define this a bug:
If you touch by chance the screen, the torch will turn off. This is very
annoying if you really need it. To prevent the torch from turning off, I used
to switch the screen of via power-button. Then I could even put the phone
halfway in its case and still have a torch turned on, which I can hold properly
and which is even a bit more secured with the case.
With the new version I can't put the phone back into its case and have to be
extra careful to not touch the screen.
