ability to bring back/add tags for an event

• Would like to see tags added to an event as an additional field.
• Not sure if 3rd party services such as 360wichita/eventbrite offers that but maybe it could be added as a part of manual submission as a start?

Reason:

• easier to search for events that interest me.
• can do fun stuff such as an event recommender based on my interests/activities

I pulled all the tagging features out because they were hard to normalize and maintain so without a really solid system for tagging all events I felt like it didn’t provide a lot of value. That said I’m not opposed to bringing it back if somebody wants to take a stab at it.

I wonder if full text search could be an option? It would be hard to generate recommendations from that but it would be a lot more straightened to implement 🤷🏼‍♂️
