Is it possible to put HTML elements on top of the map?

Ok nevermind just found the closed issues,... - is it possible to center the map on the screen? oder make it apper in a fixed distance from the bottom/top

I don't understand your question. What do you mean by center the map ? Which platform ?

Currently we can only fix the map on the bottom or on the top of the screen but I need a header and a footer bar in conjunction with the map - therefore I need the map to be placed in the center of the screen (or be able to overlay it with html elements)
