A Prototype Would Help with Incubation

I understand that this effort is to incubate the idea of a tag. What is see is a lot of conversation about what should or might be done (or not done). I think it would really help the discussion if there was a prototype web extension that shows how this proposal deals with UX, rendering, CORS, new features, model file formats, etc.

I think a prototype would highlight areas that needed further study vs. those were everyone agrees.

We could also prototype directly on webkit or one of the other browser engines.

We also have things like model-viewer, which might serve as a good basis for prototyping things in JS.

@DR-xR, is implementing something you are interested in collaborating on?

(It is also in PR 92 to be hosted properly if it does!)
