The only things I was wondering were:

  • whether we'd want everyone to come back into the main zoom room like 15 minutes before the end of each day to review highlights, maybe get feedback we can include the next day, etc? Particularly on day 2, we can give them some time to fill out the post-workshop survey. Following today's meeting: Yes, good to get people to come back into the main zoom room to go over the events for the next day. For Day 2, we have to ask people to fill out the post workshop survey.
  • Maybe we can hyperlink the Animal Telemetry link on day 2? Yes, this will be done.
  • Should I create a slide to describe the breakout rooms so people know what room to go to for their question? Or (fancy-schmancy) we can create descriptions for each breakout room if you hover over them in the schedule? Good to create slides to describe the breakout rooms.
  • For the first day, should there be a 'beginner's breakout room': beginner's breakout as an extra episode #88 No, we'll point beginners to one of two Darwin Core Terms breakout rooms.

I'm thinking that hyperlinking Animal Telemetry might be confusing to people, they might think it directs them to the specific breakout room? Should we remove the hyperlink?

last year we didn't hyperlink to the eDNA page from the workshop agenda.

I vote for removing the hyperlink but keeping the text.

  • TODO: Add 16:30 timeslot on both days to get people back into the main room: Day 1 - Recap of the day, looking forward to day 2, and OBIS Node Managers can do a quick hello and describe their role. Day 2 - recap of day 2, continuining the conversation, get show of hands to see who will participate on day 3. Included additional timeslot in schedule #130
