Pyoos is a useful toolbox, but is antithetical to the mission of IOOS -- a custom library that connects to a bunch of "custom" services.
Could it be used on the back end of a broker service that would consume myriad funky datastreams and service out standardized SOS, ala ERDDAP?
It seems that turns it's current usefulness to Python users into something for all users, and be aligned with the IOOS DMAC mission as well.
Thoughts?
