This is a tracking issue for moving from github searches to ecosyste.ms.

The reasons for doing this include:

  1. Reduce maintenance burden. Data source improvements will go to the upstream ecosyst.ms project which has a broader reach.
  2. Expose consumers outside of Github (e.g., gitlab) and other package managers. This should help with better showing the reach/impact of projects like IPFS and libp2p implementations and to better know who to reach out to in the case of a security event.
