Weird artifact in Poisson surface reconstruction

Hi everyone, I initially posted my problem as an issue, but I haven't received any replies so I'll post it here as well. When running the Poisson surface reconstruction an artifact appears in my mesh that isn't present in the point cloud, I would like to be able to remove it.
