I haven't looked at how we handle connectivity issues, so apologies if this is moot, but we may want to make sure the client keeps trying the server after a connection failure.
Another option to consider, if we're not doing this already, would be to store testimonials on the client as they're loaded so that in the event of a connection failure, a previously stored testimonial may be displayed.
