Could you consider adding a mic mute boolean to the device configuration? This does not need to be functional but having it in place will make immediate integration with View Assist much easier.

For reference, this is what the boolean looks like in Stream Assist:

Add placeholder microphone switch to unblock VA integration

(addresses #5, but the switch currently does nothing)

Also some misc bugfixes and refactoring InitializeEntity() into a new
`util.py` file.
