on the android tv version of jellyfin theres options to have the login screen appear and to auto sign in after the first time adding passwords like how netfilx and other platforms work

not having this feature really makes the app feel like a website and not a streaming app

If you just want to see the available users on the login page, uncheck Dashboard / Users / <user> / Hide this user from login screens for each user. Then manually log in with Remember me unchecked (once) to force it to show the login page on every launch. You will still have to enter the password, if any.
