I find the graph view of the log very helpful for understanding what has happened on a specific branch. However, a merge commit may bring in a lot of commits in the graph view that may not be of interest (or the merge message itself has enough information already).
Instead of scrolling over lots of commits, it would be great to be able to directly jump to that parent of the merge commit that I'm interested in.
For example in the following graph, it would be great if one could jump to
f7449ed5
directly, for example by clicking on its commit id which is mentioned on the lineMerge: f7449ed5 50b0d85c
or by clicking on any of the|
