I want to do simple factoring like the following. For the equation:
x^3 + 2xy^2 + x
I want to factor our an x so the answer would be:
x^2 + 2y^2 + 1.
I cannot find a way to do this. I tried evaluate, derivative, and simplify but none of them worked.
I even tried to use divide with (x^3 + 2xy^2 + x)/x but that did not work.
Can someone help me?
