Are you sure those are lost? Did you try to check if somehow its displaced
on the screen ? May be try Window > Arrange all.. to bring all the notes to
front.
Also in the data directory, what file did you look at to check ?

“Bring all to front” didn’t solve the problem

Can you check the `config.json` file at below path ? That should have your
notes if those were saved in default path. Also, have you moved the notes
to some other place at by any chance which was allowed previously? That
might have caused this issue. If you know the old paths, you could try to
look into those folders as well.
/Users/{user}/Library/Containers/com.ashvin777.apps.stickynotes/Data/Library/Application

I haven’t moved anything. They just disappeared by shutting down and restarting the laptop. One note appeared two days ago again, the other one is still missing. Sending screenshot as I don’t have that folder
