Hi, the UEL you are using for SPHEREPACK is broken. The new one is:
http://www2.cisl.ucar.edu/resources/legacy/spherepack
Also, reading the license terms and what you mention in your package, they seem
to have switched to a BSD-3-Clause license type.

They may also have changed the License again, to one-clause BSD, though without the one clause, which is unfortunately distinct from the zero-clause BSD license.
Alternately, they may have intended to keep the three-clause BSD they had when LICENSE.spherepack got copied here, and just forgotten the clauses. Those intending to go with a license more permisive than BSD-3 tend to go for MIT, CC0, or the Unlicense; I didn't know there were versions of the BSD license with fewer clauses.
