same issue, the code helper(plugin) process always occupies 100% cpu.
Macbook air m1
Latest Ventura
Latest vscode release
Latest solidity plugin

@zskevind try deleting completely the extension and reinstalling vscode, people have reported this in the past and it end up being a corrupted download. The extensions can be found ~/.vscode/extensions

Wanted to also drop a note here to share that I just found out this extension is using a lot of CPU, which drains the battery of my M2 Pro Macbook Pro greatly. Something along the lines of ~7-8 hours to ~2-3 hours. Would appreciate any suggestions on perhaps anything we can turn off in the extension that may help with reducing the battery drain while still making this extension useful!
