Suggest to add to the configure session. Otherwise int monitor is never defined and the build stops.

Also, suggest to add an ldconfig step at the end of make install, otherwise libxosd-xft2 is not automatically found after a clean make install

At this time I don’t even have a Linux box :(. If you want to manage I can add you as a owner

That was a quick reply. I don´t mind testing, but my experience with autoconf is extremely limited.
