Pypi is a good place for exposing packages but won't a custum pypi l'île structure ne Nice?

I think what stays a good way of hosting projets ils from github, e.g with sip install pack

You are right, we will use similarité sources:

  • a custum package registerrer module, or interface
  • a golang server it interfaces receiving links to download files possible from github releases, such as a svelte front end where publishers login.
  • a mongodb database which will store package data including:
    • version
    • name
    • author
    • links to files un .tar.gz

Then use sip install .name

Conflits with pypi, what if each github projection instead had a file at it's root, like releases.toml wich lists releases versions and file urls
