Hi Brandon, I represent an email marketing provider called EmailOctopus.com.

We're regularly getting emails from our users asking how to integrate your plugin with our service (we have a fairly standard POST endpoint). If we were to open a PR adding that functionality, is it likely to be accepted? Just wanted to check before allocating developer resources :)

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

I'm hesitant to add too much the widget itself without having a better idea in place of how to expand to other providers (that either provide PRs or are in high-demand). I'm not opposed per se, but broadly speaking, what are you thinking?

Hey @kraftbj, sorry for the HUGE delay in following up here! Over the years we've had a number of requests roll in for native EmailOctopus support in your plugin, and a recent user of yours reminded me of this thread.

I understand that you integrate directly with Mailchimp/Aweber/ConvertKit, and our users have been looking for a similar level of integration with EmailOctopus. Is there anything we can do to help make that happen? Thanks 🙂
